A few days ago the model Gigi Hadid had to apologize for having published last February a video in which he joked with a biscuit shaped like a buddha (something that his Asian supporters felt fatal and branded racism); it is now a photographer who has set himself on the warpath against her.

The reason? A photo that Gigi uploaded to Instagram in February 2016 of which Peter Cepeda, the paparazzo in question, claims to have all rights. So far, everything is correct as far as intellectual rights are concerned.
The problem is that the protagonist of that image was Gigi herself, who is captured on her back with a custom jacket that turned the logo of the Adidas brand into a great self-honor thanks to a misspelling and a stud.

The photo in question, which Peter Cepeda took in New York while the model was walking along the street, was bought by a couple of agencies responsible for distributing this type of images to media that produce news of celebrities. We imagine that not being a great exclusive would not pay too much.
And perhaps because of that, because I thought that no great business was bursting out to anyone (in the universe celeb there are no written agreements in which for the good of all the times are very respected), Gigi did not bother asking permission to share that photo with his followers. After all, we insisted, she was the only one that appeared in the photograph.
The almost one and a half million likes she has received so far this publication confirms that her fans liked that as much as her hunter . Not so much to Cepeda, who angry because not even the model had bothered to credit the author of the photo (there is no reason to piss off), wants to be compensated for damages and unrecovered benefits. So nothing better than demand the singing.
